Industries in Sargodha

There are about 1,617 cottage level and small / medium / large scale industrial units operating in the district. Besides milk processing unit, other important industries already operating in the district are four sugar mills and six textile mills which reflects very good potential for paper and paper board, chip board / particle board, polypropylene woven bags, fructose / liquid sugar from molasses, hosiery, sports-wear, etc.
