Surrounding Areas of Sargodha

Sargodha is connected to other major cities of Pakistan by motorways through Pindi-bhatian Interchange for Lahore and Bhalwal Interchange for Islamabad/Peshawar.Sargodha is linked with all the major cities of the country by road and rail. It is at just two hours traveling distance from the Provincial Capital (Lahore) and three hours from the Federal Capital (Islamabad). Road Transport connections are very frequent and comfortable, and maintain direct service to and fro Peshawar. Karachi is in direct contact through express train service and Quetta is also easily accessible through railways.

Kirana Hills

Kirana Hills covers large fertile land. Kirana Hills are situated 14 miles away from Sargodha. This place is regarded as one of the best spots in Sargodha. Before independence this site has been regarded as a sacred site by Hindus. Kirana Hills also features a small temple where an annual festival is held.

NEHANG

It is one of the beautiful towns in the district of Sargodha. It has a 25 feet long grave at the top of the hill. It is known as punj peer and its history goes back to 1000 years. Punj Peer attracts a large number of people from Sargodha and the nearby towns.

Sillanwali is a town of Sargodha District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The town has recently been made tehsil headquarters with the creation of Sillanwali Tehsil.it is lying in the southern area of Sargodha, bordering with Jhang District in the Bhatiore area.

Bhalwal is a town of Sargodha District in the centre of the Punjab province of Pakistan.Bhalwal town is located on Gujrat Phalia Sargodha road at a distance of 30 km from Sargodha at its north. It is situated near motorway (M2) in the west at a distance of 11 km from Salam interchange.

Jhelum River

The River Jhelum is a great river near Sargodha. There are some great picnic spots on its banks. People from Sargodha, Bhakkar, Khushab come here with their friends and families to have fun.
